I still think the Cowboys will be tougher than the Packers next week.
However, packers are mighty tough to beat in Green Bay.
7 - 0 Packers.

Yes - Cowboys will be a lot tougher team to deal with than the Packers - they are so loaded And Balanced on offense - 1 great receiver - 2 good receivers - 1 very good tight end - the leading rusher in the NFL - Arguably the best Offensive line in the NFL? -And a QB who is one of the most elusive QB in the NFL who has the arm and accuracy to make all of the throws anywhere on the field.

Agree. Their also getting the benefit of EVERY single flag thrown.
Still buzzing over the deep balls RW threw yesterday. That was awesome. Anyone hear anything about Richardson?

I hope the Packer squeak this one out!
No way Rodgers gets away with staying in the pocket with a bad leg against the Hawks!
Go Packers!

While I am fairly certain that the Cowboys are a better team than the packers and match up much better against the HAwks than the Packers do - I want the Cowboys here next week.
Last year I was posting that I wanted the 49ers in the final so that there will be no question as to who is the dominant team in the NFL.
Cowboys beat us earlier - A rematch for the Conference championship against "America's Team" will be epic - this is what I wish for.

I searched news - no injury updates on Richardson, Unger or Maxwell.

It looks like a sprained knee, but they were going to do some more tests today. Pete said it was pretty sore after the game, and it was the same knee he had ACL surgery on in college. PC didn't know about his chances playing next week yet. Unger re-sprained his ankle, PC was optimistic about him playing next week.

Maxwell couldn't shake his illness, the official report said something about shortness of breath, he should be fine for next week.

Good afternoon, everybody.
Good game in GB. A lil sloppy, and a dumb PF on #70 to make it 3rd and long to end up forcing a FG.

Btw - If we do face Dallas, we need to really focus on stripping the ball in addition to tackling. Guy likes to put it on the turf.

Wow, that is a pretty blatant hold. Unbelievable that 70 could horsecollar a LB 8 yards down the field and not draw a flag.
Ultimately, not impressed by either of these teams, six of one, half a dozen of another.
Interesting that without his "playground" ability, Rodgers not only looks mortal, but an average mortal at that. I thought he could dissect teams with his mind...... Stupid.

Rodgers not being able to run in pressure situations is hampering the Packers, IMO.
They better watch out, though, and not let too much momentum slip away here. Dallas came to play, and GB may end up needing a major choke decision from Romo to pull it off.
Lots of football left, but Packers need to step it up more, especially since Rodger's mobility is gimpy.

Both QB's look like extras from the Walking Dead show.

Romo has plenty of time to pull off a Big time "Choke". I have the upmost confidence in him. He's already starting.

Great drive by GB, but those time outs may be costly later...

Hell of a catch by DEZ BRYANT - I thought for sure that was game over

That, is not a catch " process" was not completed, and the ball hit the ground. If they uphold this as a catch, the league is pulling some "funny" business again. This is no more a catch, than ET's pick was an interception yesterday.

Wow - Game deciding play? Two first down away from Green Bay stamping their tickets to Seattle.
I would like the Boys to have one more shot

I actually prefer to play the boys in Seattle, but they got the call right ( for a change) he'll probably get at least one more shot.

Why is the NFC Championship game at 12:00 local time and the game in New England at 6:30 local time.
The last 2 times Seattle was in the conference game and hosted, it was the late game.
I want the Hawks game to be the late game, not sure why they would force them into playing a game 1 hour earlier than normal??
I hope this gets changed, but for now on nfl.com, it says the Hawks game is at 12:00PST.
Doesn't make any sense with an East Coast game on the schedule.
PS...bring on the Pack!

Would rather see the boys - I think the Seahawk's players both wanted and would be more inspired to play the boys - but congrats to the pack and their fans.

Oh, Obi, your rays of sunshine and candy always to be cherished in times like this.
Since you didn't see them even getting to the playoffs ( much less the number one seed) just a couple of months ago, you'll forgive us if we smirk just a touch at the knee jerk worry in this instance.

We are going to win.
Rodgers is the best in the business statistically, but RW is equally as clutch, and we will be able to pass on Packer's defense. We should also be able to run with Lynch, as Murray had a big day, but his fumble helped contribute to GB win.
Dallas would've been the tougher out, IMO, and I would've relished the chance to play them with the SB at stake, but Green Bay it is!
Go Seahawks!!!

Agent86, I'm pretty sure it has to do with the rotation within the TV Contract, not a spite on us.
I heard Byron Maxwell was not hurt, but had the flu during the week and couldn't shake it enough to breath properly. He should be OK in a few days.

Aaah, OK, thanks js. That does make sense. Although still a little weird to have a noon local time start.
We will need BM41. I know some have said that we won't be able to afford him next year and Simon will be a suitable replacement, but I have held my tongue all year with TS27. Have not been impressed right from pre-season. He drops balls he should catch (did have one INT return for a TD in preseason I remember that was called back on a bad penalty call). He takes penalties, and does not seem adept at being in the right position.
But the part that really irks me is he seems very immature. Last night he nearly got called for taunting on a play very early on a tackle he made. A tackle. You could tell the ref warned him. He has been flagged before for taunting. He argued 3 times to the refs for OPI (he is not going to get that call ever unless flagrant). Just play the d*m game, man. He got torched last night.
The LOB seems too big for him, he seems like he tries to hard to uphold the image. Just not impressed with his coverage skills, I know last night was just 1 game, but this is going on what I recall for the entire season. But a weakness got exposed last night.
The only other weakness on this team in the return game. Walters is there to fair catch only, and he does do a good job of that. But he does not have the big play ability for if we ever need it. And Richardson was below average on kick returns, will be interesting to see who takes that over next week.

Resigning Maxwell will be toss up, like Tate. They have him slotted at a certain level, and he'll have to agree with it, but doesn't he have one more year?
I seem to treat this year as Simon's first 'real year' on the team. If Earl and Sherman watch as much film as they say they do, and intercede within personnel of the DB part of the team, the way they are portrayed, I think that everything negative about Simon you broughtup may be true, but it's fixable. He's also the height and length the team likes at CB's #1 and 2.
