Even if the game was played under the previous KO rules, an onsides kick would not be the best percentage move given that we had 3 timeouts remaining. 25 yards of field position is huge.

Completely agree- bad call. PC did the same thing in the NFCCG against the Packers. Although it worked it was a bad call on a very similar situation.
