Head Coach Mike McCarthy, starting right tackle Terence Steele, and 5 assistant coaches tested positive for Covid and will miss Thursday night's game with the Saints:

And this after unvaccinated star wide receiver Amari Cooper missed the Raiders game on Turkey Day. The Cowboys, once the leading team in the NFC, have lost 3 of their past 4 games. The Saints have lost 4 in a row.

They really got hit this time and I hope those affected are vaccinated so as to keep them out of the hospital.
Reading between the lines it almost sounds like Cooper introduced it to the team. But who really knows...

Since 6 of the 7 that tested positive are coaches, it would make more sense if it were one of the coaching staff that's the spreader. But like you said, who knows where it started.

I'm more worried about those guys spreading to others like their family members than I am their own health. It's pretty unlikely that a person that is in as good of health as a pro football player would get seriously ill from it.
