It's extremely soft outside of our division. Here's a partial list of our remaining opponents:
Steelers. They're imploding worse than we are. They are 1-3 and there are calls to bench Big Ben.
Saints. At 2-2, they've been Jeykl and Hyde. Hard to tell which way that team heads.
Jags, 0-4, a runaway train heading for a washed out bridge. They've lost 17 games in a row.
WFT, 2-2 with their wins coming against the 1-3 Giants and the 1-3 Falcons.
Texans, 1-3 and have lost 3 in a row. Their lone win was against the 0-4 Jags.
Bears, 2-2 with one of those wins coming against Jared Goff and the Lions.
Lions, 0-4. Actually I don't even have to qualify them by noting their record. Just say Lions and you get the picture.
Plus we get the Niners again at home, and who knows what they'll look like by the time we get to them in December.
I don't think there's anyone here that's delusional enough to believe that this team is a Super Bowl contender, but it's very realistic that we could play well enough to make the playoffs and disappoint a lot of Jets fans that are hoping for a top 10 pick out of the Adams trade.
