J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!

So far, so good. Adams dropped an easy int, Russ threw another bad pick, and KJ and Ford fight over another easy int. We should be up by 4 TD's, but I'll settle for up by 14.

I'm a little disturbed about Metcalf's end zone stunt.

I wouldn’t call RW’s pick ‘bad’ the throw could have clearly been better, but DK vs. a safety isn’t a bad idea, he just needs to throw it better:

After catching a TD pass he jumped in the stands and took control of the camera as another player held up a sign that said “DK- Happy Birthday!!! (And then some other stuff I couldn’t read)” it resulted in a 15-yard penalty that the Jets took after the kick.

If we and the media stop comparing him to that clown show, T.O., maybe DK would stop. That was a TO stunt, period.

There have been lots of stupid TD celebrations by Wide Receivers over the years and not all of them turn into TO... don’t forget about Doug Baldwin pooping on the football in the SB- he didn’t exactly turn into a diva and that was worse than DK’s.

DK don't seem like TO at all. Crazy celebrations don't make you TO. If DK starts blaming his QB for offense problems and behaving selfishly, then I'll worry. A young guy having some fun the day before his birthday I'm not going to worry about at all. Sometimes young guys gotta have some fun.

Understood and agreed. Nevertheless, the parallels between T.O. and DK are inescapable.

How so? What has he done that makes them seem similar?

To compare DK and TO’s behavior is way over the top. Not close.

jumping over the stands, pushing a cameraman out of the way and 'pretending' to do that job is not only old, it's T.O. Exactly the type of selfish behavior TO would do, without any concern for the consequences, in this case 15 yards. Once you start down this road, the team (meaning other players and coaches) need to put a stop to it.

"Pushing a cameraman out of the way"?! Just stop.

The whole thing was nothing more than the 15 yard penalty it was given. If there wasn't a "prop" (the camera) it wouldn't even have been that. And that wasn't a sign it was a gift card, he had nothing to do with it.

That's not true at all. T.O. wasn't a bad guy because of end zone celebrations which many have done. It's because he was a cancer in a locker room. I have heard nothing about DK save that he is a good teammate who gets along great with Russell and his teammates.

Please stop with the exaggerations and false comparisons. Denigrating a young guy having a great year for celebrating the day before his birthday is just curmudgeonly BS.

Wasn't aware of the birthday thing, I thought it was a stupid diva modern superstar wide receiver stunt sooo..Ill live with it    .

The potential makes you drool. I say potential because of the huge production minus all the mistakes he's still making.Hes dropped at least 3 TDs and got stripped on the other one. He doesn't always use his gifts like he should.
Let's look at the pick yesterday. Wilson is rolling left under extreme duress and gets a glimpse of 14 one on one with a safety for 6. He throws up a 50-50 ball probably any QB in the league would throw. It wasn't his best throw, a little short.

But Dk, dude....You have to win there, if not catch the ball you MUST make sure its not picked. You have to protect your money maker there. Russ was much better yesterday, obviously. I feel far better. But DK needs to stop taking plays off .

Russell's interception came on 2nd down and we were threatening, with the ball on the Jets 37. Russell could have easily gotten rid it and thrown it beyond the LOS and lived to play another down yet he chose to throw the ball some 45 yards in the air while running away from his throwing arm, leaving it well short of its intended target. He would have had to have gotten the ball another 6-8 yards to the corner of the end zone to put it where it should have been, making his receiver the only one that could catch it. It was a horrible decision and exactly the type of mistake he's been making over the past month or so. Fortunately it was one of the few he made yesterday, but my concern still lingers.

My sentiments about yesterday's game is basically neutral. That Jets are horrid, the worst NFL team that I can recall seeing in the past several years. They were completely dysfunctional on both sides of the ball. Their quarterback's completion percentage was barely 50% and he should have had 3 interceptions. Their kicker missed 3 very makeable FG attempts. There isn't a lot to take away from this game other than Carson and Hyde looking a lot healthier.

Next week will be a far greater challenge. Washington is a sleeper, and this is much more than simply a trap game. They're 6-7, have won 4 in a row, and are leading their division, making them playoff hungry. They haven't lost a game by more than a field goal since Week 5. We have to bring our 'A' game.

For the most part I agree- RW’s INT was a poor throw, the Hets were terrible, but were they terrible because we were playing better? Who knows for sure, they looked like a normal NFL team last week when they should have beat the Raiders, at any rate I agree you can’t take much on that game. Yeah the Redskins defense is legit- top 5 in the NFL. This was our cupcake defense in the last 5 Ganesh of the schedule, they’re all the from here on out. We’ll see if we actually figured anything out. I see us playing very conservative on offense with PC not wanting to hand them the game with turnovers like the niners did yesterday.

The DK thing shouldn't have been done, and Pete was fairly clear on that. But T.O. was different. His end zone celebrations were one thing, but his actions that put down a player or team (like dancing on the Cowboys logo at center field); fighting in the locker room with teammates; screaming at coaches on the sideline; refusing to attend practice because he's pissed at the coaches. A WAY different level than DK. By all reports, DK'sa great teammate and gracious to deal with. He doesn't like to be pushed around on the field and that's OK. We want a little edge.

Every good WR has a little "Diva" in him. Some are just more subtle about it that others, but I think it's unfair to compare
DK with Owens at this point. He may never get anywhere near that point, or he may start to cross the line as he matures and
is totally comfortable with how much he can contribute. I wonder if his father might have some good influence with him should
he start to go off track.
