I doubt there was ever any real danger, even if they had beat us tonight. I see the Hawks winning the division. It’s all about the QB, and ours is elite, while theirs looks quite average. Our receivers against theirs is a similar comparison.

Their 2 best receivers were hurt. It gave us an big advantage in coverage as the quality of their replacements didn't catch the damn ball. What can you say, our best game, it was a great, fun game to watch.

Yeah I hope your are right, but they still have a full game lead and the back part of our schedule is ugly. No doubt there's is too: Packers, Ravens, Saints.

Yeah, the odds would have had to been one in 100, but that wasn't my point. There's an urban legend, mostly fictitious, that the '72 Dolphins have a champagne toast on the day the last undefeated team loses.

I think they did that the first 20 or so years but I'm not sure they still do that. I think I saw one of them on a tv interview quite a few years ago say that they no longer do it.

I think it happened once back in the early 90's when the Dolphins knocked off the undefeated Bears, or at least that's when it got its start.

Nevertheless, it's kind of a cool myth, like the Curse of the Bambino.

Yeah, I agree it is kinda cool and funny when it is your rival that goes down last. :D
