When the Going Gets Tough...

We have the toughest remaining schedule in the league:

...at least according to win percentage, the Seahawks have the most difficult remaining schedule in the NFL. Seattle’s remaining opponents have a win percentage of .642, considerably higher than the second team on the list, Atlanta, whose opponents are winning games at a .627 rate.

It looks even more daunting after this weekend as the only team with a losing record is Arizona at 3-4-1.

I should point out that our remaining SOS is being driven by two games against the undefeated 49'ers.

Fortunately we tend to play to the level of our competition.

We'll either get better or get stomped on. No use winning a cream puff schedule only to get blown out in the playoffs.

Except for the first year when he was churning the roster, Pete's teams rarely get blown out. I suspect the Tampa Bay game will go down to the wire.

I haven't seen all that much of the 49'ers. I saw them play on MNF vs. the Browns and their defense looked awesome, but the Browns are a team that has that runaway train heading for a washed out bridge look to them. It will be interesting to see how they do against Kyler Murry and the Cards tonight.

The Niners will have a long time to prepare for us as by virtue of their playing tonight, they'll get 11 days off before playing us a week from next Monday.
