The 49ers have played trash teams. No one is convincing me Cleveland is some kind of barometer team. If the 49ers can beat the Rams, they are a real contender. If they trash the Rams, they are a top tier contender. If they lose to the Rams in a close game, they're a contender. If they get wiped out by the Rams, then they're a pretender.
