Ann Wilson- National Anthem

Postby Seahawker » Mon Jan 20, 2014 5:35 pm

WOW! Ann's rendition really knocked it out of the park.
To go from that high to RW fumbling on the first play from scrimmage...
This season has been a fun rollercoaster watching this young team evolve into greatness. We have been winning not playing our best. If they can put a game together in the SB, watch out.

Richard Sherman, "I thought this was supposed to be a match-up?, mismatch!"

Russell Wilson said he wants to win multiple championships in Seattle. Well they've got a shot at the first one.

Go Hawks

Edited to say; Let's put this SOB over 5,000 posts before SB kickoff.

It was a great rendition of the National Anthem.

But I don't get the connection between the thread's title and 95% of your post, bro.

The tears streamed down my face when Paul Allen raised the 12th man flag through that awesome rendition of our national anthem, to the kickoff. WHAT A GAME. I was in sec 301 . My 1st game in around 4 years. Im still hoarse.

I know Rott, I was in danger of going on a long rant about how special this season has been.
So many feel good stories from the girl that needed a heart transplant that made RW a duct tape wallet, to 3 year old Kalee, (the littliest Seahawk fan), to Coleman, ect. So much disappointment over 38 years, the fan's never waivered and really deserve this.

I think hearing Ann sing the NA brought a bunch of us old dogs back to the days of Jim Zorn, old school logo & all.
Back in HS when we all drove classic muscle cars and listened to Heart with our girlfriends while parked somewhere off the road.

You're never too old to enjoy a Superbowl win.

Gotcha.

Bout to get to work on knockin' out a case myself — to some 70s tunes, when there wasn't no such thing as autotune, and everything (and everyone) was as real as Ricky Sherman.

Thumbs up, Seahawker.

Nice! I wish I had some of the muscle cars i used to listen to Heart in while having relations with my girlfriend:-) Ann Wilson, seriously the album covers were exciting. What a powerful voice and a beautiful rendition.Actually we had great anthems for both playoff games IMO.

Hawks rock, they are a part of my life since the age of 16 and I'm 54 now. This is the best team we have ever had. Got a tough draw in 2 weeks but this is the type of team that could bring home the hardware anyway.....
