Early 53 man roster prediction from Field Gulls

I think this is a very well thought out prediction, one I tend to mostly agree with.

My only differences would be with guys like Kevin Norwood and or Kasen Williams while cutting Rocardo Lockette. Granted Lockette has clearly reached his ceiling as a receiver (not saying much actually) and both of those other two have much more potential at WR, BUT, Lockette has made himself into an invaluable special teams gunner, and one of those other two could POSSIBLY be stuck onto the practice squad (not a high chance, but you never know) and if not, they each sort of make the other redundant anyway, so not a huge loss if they get sniped.
Also, I can't see the Seahawks cutting both Coleman and Lockette. One of the other sure, but both? No way. Pete's emphasis on special teams is too big a deal to just cut both of those huge special teams studs.
Not sure they would keep Burley ahead of Seisay, who they just traded for, unless they are worried about nickel depth (which could be a legit concern. Still, in my mind, Burley has been basically a replacement level player, while the whole reason they traded for Seisay, was because of his potential, which is clearly much more than Burley's.

I think the list is pretty spot on I would hate to lose Ricardo Lockette on special teams but as a WR meh. I am excited to see we still have Tukuafu on the team. that guy could be a beast given a full offseason to prepare and work with the team, Lynch loves him as well and in case of emergency he could play DE. I am really hoping they Keep Tukuafu even if it means cutting coleman.

obviously Matthews is intriguing considering his SB performance. on the TE front I would be glad to see Helfet gone and I can see McCoy being gone due to being injury prone at this point

O line I think we may have a pretty solid group there for once. I am hoping losing Unger doesn't hurt too badly

I can see Jesse Williams getting cut as well. back to back seasons missed due to injury would be a big red flag regardless of if it could have been partly to blame from his health issues that were undiagnosed. I think they are hoping he can latch on elsewhere. cool that they kept and paid him as they had, not many teams would have done that.

I think if Greg Scruggs is cut he will do well elsewhere considering who he would have to beat out to stay I don't see that happening. Seiyseiy (sic) I think will make the team. just a hunch.

Funny you mentioned Jesse Williams today. Pete is positively geeking about him getting to play tomorrow, and so am I, even if he does ultimately get cut, the progress he's made to get back on the field after fighting cancer, and losing a kidney is something. I hope he somehow gets through to our practice squad if he does end up cut, because I could see him being a late season addition ala Chris Matthews last year.
