I'd sit Geno and see what we have in Howell with preparation. That will provide more information on how to move forward at the QB position. Keep believing Geno can be "The Man" with a better O-line with his backup level production from year to year or go with a much cheaper Howell for similar production and see what happens then see what's in the draft.
This last Rams game is an assessment game. I'd rest players like Lucas and anyone else I'm sure of or that could use more rehab time. I'd roll into this game looking to assess some players I'm not sure of and prepare for next year.
I'd rest D.K. too, let him heal up for next year or ensure no injuries if the team decides to trade him.
Let JSN play and try for the record with Howell. Or I guess play Geno if you maybe plan to trade him or let him walk. So he can audition for another team.
I'd prefer a higher draft pick, but as Northawk said it will be a moderate difference between 17 and 21 or something. Middling draft pick likely leading to another year of mediocrity as that isn't the best position to draft a quality QB unless you get lucky.

We have so many team-wide needs for better talent that retaining one megatron will not mask, especially a megatron who hurts the team so often with his childish temperament. JSN's blossoming has diminished DK's value to the team IMO and I would add to that the fact that Noah Fant has quietly been coming of age and making some big catches of late.

I can't see going for Justin Fields. I know he's been on a bad team but still, he's never impressed me. He strikes me as one of those really good college QBs who just can't quite process fast enough to succeed in the NFL.
Trever Lawrence? I'm concerned that he may already be ruined. PTSD.
