Wilson took a hit to his image last year so he could very well be motivated to do well and get he career trajectory back on track.
I hope so to get some good games from the AFC West.

If I’ve got to challenge an employee with 12 years in any occupation I’d be sceptical. As I’ve said it doesn’t matter anymore other than pure curiosity . If Payton fixes Russell’s game tip of the cap . It’s a tall order IMO

Hawktawk wrote:It’s going to be interesting . Payton came out yesterday and said “ Russel is a hard worker who has played at a very high level in this league “ encouraging words . I don’t think anything’s sure . Russ completed 60% last year with well under 20 TDs . Thatx not all coaching .
That’s rare for a guy who coached a guy throwing 70%, 5 k yards and 40 TDs every year . Might be a shock . Maybe Payton can adjust his offense . Tune in next September or maybe next summer to see if Russels Lear Jet is parked or in Monaco .

With their RB's, I would expect like Payton had in NO a good run game which would take some of the pressure off of Wilson. A lot depends on how fast Javonte Williams recovers from ACL surgery, but they could pick up a RB later in the draft.
It should also have a better Defense if the Offense can sustain drives and give them some real rest.
I don't really care what happens, but I am interested nonetheless.
